U-M Maizey
Maizey is available at no-cost through the Summer term, 2024.
Maizey project costs vary based on the amount of data being indexed and how much use the tool gets (prompts and replies).
- A one sentence prompt (10-12 words) with a paragraph reply (80-100 words), costs about $0.02.
- A three to four sentence prompt (75 words) with a one page reply (250-300 words), costs about $0.10
- The current maximum cost for a single prompt and reply is $0.48, which is about 25 pages of text.
Once you’ve created a project, you can view accumulated project costs for the current month or for a custom date range from within your Maizey project.
Coming Soon! We will be providing a way for students who do not have access to a Shortcode to add funds to your U-M GPT Maizey account.

U-M GPT Toolkit
U-M GPT Toolkit usage is billed monthly. Pricing is subject to change.
The U-M GPT Toolkit billing dashboard (Tableau) allows you to view usage charges for the current and previous months using your API key. By default, access is provisioned for the Toolkit reqestor and/or Principle Investigator. Additional individuals can be added by request.
