About MiWorkspace
MiWorkspace is a desktop support service that supports your university device by providing software and security updates, printing, and access to a team of desktop support professionals.
Features & Benefits
- Desktop Support. Personalized support from your Neighborhood IT professionals who know you, your unit, and the university. Each Neighborhood IT professional you work with is backed by a team of staff across campus with access to shared tools, best practices, and a database of knowledge. Learn more about Neighborhood IT.
- Software. Software used widely across U-M and in your unit is standard on all MiWorkspace computers. A catalog is available for you to select additional software for your computer, free of charge and at your convenience. Learn more about installing and requesting software.
- Security. MiWorkspace laptops are encrypted to protect your personal and university data. Security patches and settings are managed for you to keep your device secure as threats evolve. Learn more about security and privacy on MiWorkspace computers.
- Mobility. MiWorkspace computers are preconfigured to work on campus and off. Learn more about working remotely with your MiWorkspace computer.
