The ITS Enterprise Salesforce Organization (Enterprise Org) is a common instance of the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software comprising multiple U-M units with differentiated business processes.
The ITS Salesforce Center of Excellence (SFCOE) administers and supports the Enterprise Org by partnering with units to onboard, provide production support, and govern system enhancements.
SFCOE has found that units managing their own Salesforce orgs have had difficulty supporting data integrations, providing production support/technical expertise, and managing Salesforce administrator turnover. Those issues ultimately have an impact on the users; therefore, ITS partners with units to provide a better overall experience.
