Salesforce, a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, has been deployed for collecting information for Covid positive test results and contact tracing related to the positive test result cases.
The Salesforce instance is used for case management and follow-up. Case investigators from Environmental Health & Safety contact campus community members who tested positive for COVID-19 and provide education about isolation, criteria to complete isolation and resources to successfully complete isolation.
Salesforce is also used for contact tracing, which is used to ensure that people at risk of having been infected are rapidly identified in order to help prevent unnecessary spread of the virus. Members of the university’s Contact Tracing Corps reach out to, monitor, and offer support to people in the Ann Arbor campus community who had close contact with individuals who tested positive for COVID-19.
