BusinessObjects has been upgraded to version 4.3.
Before starting to run reports in the new BusinessObjects version, we recommend you perform these steps in exact sequence:
- Sign out of BusinessObjects by selecting Log out from the unique name initial circle in the top right corner of the BI Launch Pad. Closing the browser window does not sign you out. You must use Log out.
- Close all open browser windows.
- Clear your browser cache completely For example, Chrome's default is seven days; please select All Time.
- Log back in to BusinessObjects and perform your tasks.
If you experience errors and have not cleared your cache, please do so before contacting the ITS Service Center.
BusinessObjects is a widely used reporting tool across all U-M campuses and Michigan Medicine. It is used to retrieve and analyze the data in the U-M Data Warehouse.
The University's version was out of date and needed to be updated to version 4.3 to remain fully functional, secure, and to continue to meet the needs of the university.
