The ITS Service Center provides information and assistance to support the U-M community with ITS Computing Services.

We offer real time, walk-in technical support at no cost to you. Our student team partners with you to solve issues, diagnose problems, and connect you with the right resources. It's not just about fixes—it's about empowering you with knowledge to protect and optimize your tech.

Departments and units can sponsor people to get uniqnames and MCommunity Directory profiles for them (and, in some cases, UMIDs).

Friend accounts allow guests to log in and access U-M online resources they have been authorized to use.

Your uniqname is your U-M login ID. There are different processes for getting a uniqname based on your relationship to the university.
