Telephone Upgrade Project Unit Ambassadors & SRS Submitters

ITS is engaging with Unit Ambassadors and SRS Submitters to assist with the Telephone Upgrade project.

The project team provides information via Unit Ambassador and SRS submitter meetings, Open Office Hour sessions, the Telephone Upgrade project site, communications and support materials.

Note: The Telephone Upgrade Project does not include Michigan Medicine or the Medical School, except for departments that have phone lines supported by ITS.

Key Resources

Email [email protected] to contact the Telephone Upgrade project team or request help with the Telephone Upgrade Request Form or Zoom Phone.

U-M Zoom Phone Transition Dashboard

Get up-to-date transition status and progress information on the U-M telephone numbers in your unit and units across the university from the U-M Zoom Phone Transition Dashboard. Click on the tabs in the upper left corner to filter by Department ID, Unit Progress, Total Active and Active Sets by Unit.

Note: The numbers represented in the dashboard reflect BOTH lines submitted in the TURF and work orders submitted outside of the project through the SRS. For example; “Canceled” reflects the number of lines a unit submitted in the TURF to be disconnected. “Disconnected” represents the total number of lines processed and disconnected from TURF request AND work orders.

Unit Ambassador & SRS User Meetings

These meetings are opportunities to share project progress, discuss next steps, review new communications and resource materials, and identify needs. They are a great time to ask questions and provide feedback.
