Getting Started
To get started using MiDesktop, follow the steps below:
1. Configure Active Directory Information
MiDesktop requires Active Directory configuration in most cases before you can begin using the service.
Virtual desktop customers must provide an Active Directory Organizational Unit on which they have the "delegate permissions" role. To do so:
- Go to KB: Create a User Account for Instant Clone Operations.
- Skip step 1 in the KB.
- In step 2, grant the listed permissions on your OU to account umroot\vdi-computerjoiner
If you need assistance with any of those steps, reach out to the MiDesktop Support team.
2. Download Software
See our repository of MiDesktop software.
3. Access MiDesktop Management Interfaces
The MiDesktop vCenter and Horizon management interfaces can only be accessed from our secure jump server using a dedicated account.
4. Set Up Your Pools
