There is no charge to departments to get access to Business Objects. Business Objects is available to all university staff (regular, temporary, faculty, and contractors). Students do not get access to Business Objects or the UM-Data Warehouse unless the student is employed by the university.
Requesting Access
To request access to the UM-Data Warehouse use the Online Access Request System (OARS)
Log into Business Objects
To log in to Business Objects go to the Business Objects Login.
Business Objects is also available on Wolverine Access. Search for Data Warehouse (BusinessObjects).
Note: Starting 5/10/2025, users utilizing non-University of Michigan provided machines and off-campus networks will require a connection through the U-M Virtual Private Network (VPN). Instructions for installing and connecting the VPN are available in the Knowledge Base.
