Getting Access

• Your U-M Uniqname & Account
  Your U-M account and standard computing services are set up for you when your uniqname is created. There are different processes for getting a uniqname based on a person's relationship to the university.
• Uniqnames and Access Through Sponsorship
  Departments and units can sponsor people to get uniqnames and MCommunity Directory profiles for them.
• Access to Enterprise Administrative Systems
  U-M faculty or staff members can obtain access to the university's administrative data resources that pertain to the type of data and level of access they need to conduct university business using the Online Access Request System (OARS).
• Friend Accounts
  Friend accounts allow guests to log in and access the U-M Computing environment.
