Highlights of serving our university community
ITS Emerging Technology
Advanced the University of Michigan’s leadership in applied AI by expanding secure, institutionally supported services and helping the U-M community move from AI exploration to practical, everyday use.
“In FY2026, ITS turned ambitious ideas into practical progress for the University of Michigan. We expanded responsible, human-centered AI and strengthened cybersecurity and digital accessibility. We modernized the infrastructure that powers teaching, research, and operations while delivering reliable service at university scale. None of this happens through technology alone. It is made possible by the talent, care, and commitment of our One ITS culture. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire Michigan IT community.”
— Ravi Pendse, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
