The new AWS cluster will be available for production workloads on May 1, 2023. This will lead to the current AWS cluster (containers.it.umich.edu) being shut down on August 24, 2023. All applications currently hosted in the existing environment will need to be migrated by August 24, 2023, or they will no longer be available. If you administer an application that is hosted by the Container Service and have questions about which environment it is running, contact the Container Service team at [email protected].
The new on-campus cluster is anticipated to be available for pilot workloads in the summer of 2023.
