What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
The whole program has been amazing so far— I'm gaining professional communication skills in a new, broader setting, I've been able to work with so many wonderful fellow interns, and I've learned a lot about IT. However, if I had to choose just one thing, my favorite part would have to be meeting everyone's pets (especially Kaylee's cats).
What skills are you hoping to gain by the end of the internship this August?
Apart from professional writing/communication skills, I'd like to improve my leadership and teamwork abilities.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
As an intern, I imagined I would be given assignments with strict guidelines on how to complete them. It's been incredibly motivating to find that members of my department ask for and value my ideas and opinions.
What has been your favorite part about working from home?
That's easy: wearing pajama pants every day.
