No Public Access on U-M Cloud
The U-M Tableau Cloud environment is strictly internal. Public/guest accounts are disabled. If you need to share a non-sensitive dashboard with the public or for use with student coursework, you must use Tableau Public (public.tableau.com).
Important Data Security Note: Content published to Tableau Public is indexed, publicly accessible to anyone on the web, and allows raw underlying data downloads. NEVER publish HIPAA, FERPA, or sensitive/regulated data to Tableau Public. It is your responsibility to keep university data safe.
