Wolverine Access Tips for Communicators

The purpose of this page is to assist communicators with language and instructions when referring to systems and tools within the Wolverine Access gateway. The two primary ways to find and access systems and tools on Wolverine Access (WA) gateway are to search for or navigate to the item through the menu.

Below are some examples of instructions communicators can use to direct their audience to find something specific.

Example of instructional language 



  • To update your emergency alert preferences, go to Wolverine Access > Faculty & Staff (scroll to the Campus Collections section)  > Set Up Emergency Alerts. You can also search for “emergency alerts” and click on Subscribe to Campus Emergency Alerts
  • Go to Wolverine Access > Payroll Tax Forms (W-2, W-4) link > View W-2/W-2-c Forms.
