Units are able to choose from Basic, Performance, and Elite plans for their U-M Pantheon websites. These plans offer many features that may not be available through your current Pantheon contract or web hosting service.

- Direct 24x7 Pantheon Diamond support for all of your websites, plus additional support through ITS.
- Website access to internal university services via a secure VPN tunnel back to campus.
- Integration with Web Single Sign On, MCommunity, outgoing email, and other U-M IT services.
- Enterprise-grade reliability, features, and support that meet the university’s complex business needs.
- Pantheon WebOps Workflow provides Dev, Test, and Live environments so you can make changes and test your website without affecting your published website.
- Automatic and self-service website backups and restores. If something goes wrong, you can revert to a previous version of your website with a few clicks.
- Automatic website upgrades using Pantheon Autopilot and Visual Regression Testing
- Update website files via either Git or SFTP.
Performance and Elite Plans Include:
- New Relic Performance Monitoring allows you to monitor your website’s performance, identify places your website can be made faster, and troubleshoot problems.
- Object Cache (Redis) speeds up your website by reusing the results of requests for web pages, database queries, and other operations.
- Pantheon Search (Solr) provides more advanced search functionality for your website than WordPress and Drupal’s built-in search.
- Overage Protection allows websites to handle one-time traffic spikes without incurring a higher bill.
- WordPress Multisite and Drupal Multisite websites and support.
