MPrint Platform as a Service enables printing from university-owned and personally-owned devices to a broad spectrum of university-owned network printers.
The service provides an ubiquitous and common user experience for managed printing at U-M. MPrint customers are not tethered to defined locations or printers and can take advantage of mobility, secure release options, the ability to charge specific accounts, scan to email/file, and more for both convenience and to develop business specific workflows.
MPrint is available to U-M administrative and academic units on the UM-Ann Arbor campus and can be used by faculty, staff, and students employed in those units. UM-Dearborn and UM-Flint are similarly able to use MPrint, provided they are able to meet identity federation requirements.
The service is included in MiWorkspace and is administered by ITS.
