Overview

The university has negotiated a Microsoft Campus Agreement that allows the distribution of commonly used Microsoft products at significantly reduced costs. For more information about software terms and conditions, read the most current Microsoft Licensing Terms.

  • Faculty and staff: Windows Education
  • Departments: Microsoft Select Program

Access

Office 365 for Education

As part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement, Office 365 Education is available at no additional cost to U-M students, faculty, and staff. Learn more about the program at Microsoft Office 365 at U-M.

Please note that the ITS Service Center does not offer support for Office 365 Education. If you have questions or need assistance with Office 365, please visit Microsoft Office Online Support.

U-M students, faculty, and staff are responsible for maintaining university data in approved locations. OneDrive, the cloud storage space included with Office 365, is not approved to store university data or sensitive regulated data. Microsoft Select Program

The Microsoft Select Agreement allows university departments to use the ITS Software Store to purchase Microsoft licenses.
