The University of Michigan Research Computing Package (UMRCP), provided by ITS, is an investment into the U-M research community.
The package supplies eligible researchers across all university campuses with annual no-cost access to several high-performance computing clusters and data storage resources managed by the Advanced Research Computing (ARC) team:
- High performance computing hours on Great Lakes or Armis2
- High performance storage with Turbo
- Archive storage with Data Den
- Secure Enclave Services
The resources available in UMRCP are designed to allow researchers to process data sets too large for an average computer, access research files from a local or office computer, store data long term to meet grant requirements, and host and analyze restricted or sensitive research data on a secure server.
Find out if you're eligible for UMRCP by visiting the Getting Started page.
