Tech Help now offers in-person UMICH password and Duo two-factor support at both Tech Shop locations.
If you are on campus and have photo ID, can’t or don’t want to remote verify, or are coming to the Tech Shop for other services (for example, purchasing a two-factor hardware device), we can offer convenient walk-up assistance with little to no wait time.
Walk-up account support services include:
- guidance for self-service password resets
- assistance with self-service Duo device management
- updating account recovery phone and email*
- Duo device management, including reactivating existing phone numbers and assigning temporary bypass codes*
If you don’t have a photo ID, are not on campus, or have a complex issue with your account, you’ll want to contact the ITS Service Center.
