Adobe Software

Announcements

Effective immediately, users of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Creative Cloud 2019 must sign in with an Adobe/Enterprise ID to use Adobe software purchased through ITS. Read the full details.

ITS is retiring Adobe CS6 products from its services (Campus Computing Sites, UmichITAM, MiWorkspace) by August 1, 2019. Adobe CS6 and older products are no longer supported by the vendor and can be a security vulnerability to the university computing environment. It is recommended that you transition to the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) or Value Incentive Program (VIP).

Overview

Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) and Value Incentive Program (VIP) licenses are available for departments to purchase for university-related use. Visit Adobe.com to purchase Adobe products for personal devices.

Eligibility

U-M faculty and staff.

Access

Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA)

Departments may join the ETLA during the annual open enrollment period (June-July) by licensing 100% of their FTE count — with either an Acrobat Pro DC license (with option to add on individual Creative Cloud) or a Creative Cloud license (includes Acrobat Pro DC). The VIP option is available outside of the enrollment period.

  • Annual enrollment is the only time U-M departments can add Adobe licenses
  • The ETLA offers the best price for Adobe products
  • Device or User licenses available

Value Incentive Program (VIP)

Departments, individuals and small groups can also purchase Adobe licenses at a discounted rate through the Value Incentive Program (VIP):

  • Annual commitment required
  • Price varies by title and is prorated monthly
  • Device or User licenses available
