An HPC Slurm Account is set up and associated with a specific Shortcode. This is how jobs are paid for on our high performance computing clusters. The account includes a group of users who can charge jobs to the associated Shortcode or allocations.
Eligible researchers can leverage the HPC Slurm Account using allocations from the University of Michigan Research Computing Package (UMRCP) and others may have additional HPC Slurm Accounts for other research work.
