The overall architecture for MCommunity is basically that of a hub and spokes, with the hub being the data repository, and the spokes being various databases (such as Wolverine Access, DART, and the Flint and Dearborn campus directories) and services (such as the web interfact to the directory, the Sponsor System, and the system for creating uniqnames).
