MiCORES implementation is a transitional process (called a "wave") that runs approximately six to eight (6–8) weeks from Kick-Off to Go-Live.
Assess
Before your implementation (wave) begins, you will meet with the MiCORES Project Manager for an initial assessment.
Review and Confirm
After the assessment, if you confirm your intent to transition your operations to MiCORES, your core/facility will be scheduled for a slot in an upcoming implementation wave. To move forward in the process after that initial meeting and to ensure readiness prior to the Kick-Off meeting with Agilent staff, cores/facilities must complete Agilent's "Info Needed Workbook" — a document that captures details about your current process(es) and business needs to aid in the facilitation of a smooth transition into MiCORES. An Implementation Checklist will help walk you through the process and what you need to do before your implementation wave begins.
Each wave consists of no more than three (3) cores, and each core will be represented during the implementation Kick-Off meeting, where our Agilent Project Manager and Implementation Associate (IA) will introduce themselves and give a demo of the system. In the weeks following, your core/facility staff will work directly with our assigned Implementation Associate to ensure your core's workflow is captured and modeled properly within the system.
Schedule
The Implementation Timeline Overview provides a high-level description of the implementation process and the steps included from beginning to end. (This schedule can be modified with additional meetings scheduled with our Implementation Associate, if needed.)
It is important to note that this schedule is dependent on the engagement and participation of core staff, and the expectation is that at the end of the implementation window, your core will fully transition your workflow to MiCORES. Our assigned Implementation Associate will be available for assistance for six (6) weeks after your core's go-live date to provide support through your initial billing event.
Because there is currently a growing list of cores awaiting implementation, and waves are populated months in advance, we ask that you do not enter the implementation process if you are not fully committed to go-live at completion.
