After a national search, Diane Jones has been selected as the executive director for ITS Administration. She assumes her position on December 7, 2015.
Diane is the executive director responsible for the planning, allocation, and management of all functions in the finance, human resource, facilities, workforce development, and communications areas.
Diane comes to ITS from the Detroit Public Schools (DPS) where she was the chief information & strategic officer and served as an executive cabinet member of the district leadership. She managed a team of professionals who are accountable for the delivery of all information technology services that support the achievement of Detroit Public Schools’ goals and instructional priorities. Prior to her role at DPS, Diane worked as the Compuware program director for Ford Motor Company, at Wayne State University as an associate director in the Office of University Budget, and at AAA as a manager in the Financial Planning department. She has been recognized by the Gartner Group, the Michigan Chronicle, and the National Advisory Committee for Digital Inclusion.
Diane holds a Master of Finance in finance and economics from Walsh College.
