The built-in VPN client on MiWorkspace Macs migrated from Duo to Okta for multifactor authentication (MFA) on November 4, 2026. Unit-specific VPN tunnels also migrated to Okta.
To avoid disrupting active connections and saved credentials, the macOS built-in VPN profiles were not renamed. These connections still reference Duo in the description but initiate MFA via Okta.
