MiWorkspace to test macOS 27 Golden Gate for compatibility with U-M computing environment
Apple’s newest operating system, macOS 27 Golden Gate, will be available to MiWorkspace Mac computers after thorough compatibility testing.
MiWorkspace recommends that faculty and staff with MiWorkspace Mac computers wait until ITS announces full compatibility before installing. Faculty and staff who have an eligible Mac supported by MiWorkspace will receive an email when macOS Golden Gate has been validated.
The MiWorkspace Mac team expects to complete final testing in the coming weeks. Each new operating system is tested to make sure it works with U-M research, administrative, teaching and learning applications, and more than 400 software titles on MiWorkspace computers.
