Welcome

Length: 5 minutes

Presenter(s): Lisa Collins, ITS

Description:

New!

Effective May 1, a new option is available under the Comments-Only Request section of the OARS Request. The Comments Only Request - BO/MReports is related to access that cannot be found on the form or needs additional information for the request to be processed.

Reminder!

Secondary Security in OARS

In order to get the appropriate approvals when requesting Secondary Security, choose the role that best reflects what the additional secondary security is for. For example:

  • If you are requesting an additional student group to be added, then you would choose the Secondary Security Only - Student Administration role.
  • If you are requesting additional departments to be added to ICEmployment or ICOtherTools in MReports, then you would choose the Secondary Security Only - Financials & Physical Resources role.

The same approach can be used when using the Comments-Only Request role. Choose the role that best describes what the access is for. This allows the request to go through the appropriate approval workflow before the request is processed.

See Request Secondary Security for more details.

  • Mark your calendars for the next UL meeting on Wednesday, July 12 , 2023 at 9 a.m.
  • Requesting changes to ULs in your department
