Many people have reported that they are not aware of the recommended training available for roles requested through OARS. Effective April 1, 2018, an OARS enhancement will provide that information.
- Current role-completion emails: When a role request is completed, the person for whom the role is requested is notified via an email that includes a link to the original OARS request.
- Training information to be added: Beginning April 1, a list of the recommended training courses for the role request(s) that were just completed will be added to the request-completion emails. The list will include a link to My LINC with the course codes pre-populated in the My LINC search box to make it easy for the recipient to find the training if it is in My LINC.
The OARS role request process and the assignment of required training in My LINC will not change. The only change is the addition of information about recommended training when it is available.
