Overview
MicroStation is a CAD platform used by teams of architects, engineers, contractors and GIS professionals to integrate work on buildings, civil engineering projects, power plants and geospatial information.
Eligibility
U-M faculty, staff and students.
Access
Note: This license expires annually. It is not perpetual, which means regardless of the month you obtain your license, the cost is the same and you will need to obtain a new license when the license expires each March.
Personal Use
Student/Faculty/Staff personal home use license is provided through STUDENTserver.
Academic Units
This is available at no cost through the ITS Software Store.
Administrative Units
$1500 for unlimited installations on departmental computers. This annual fee is prorated quarterly.
Departments can elect one of two licensing options:
- A Bentley Hosted license server. License information will be provided after purchase.
- A University of Michigan Deployed License server. You must install Select Server then contact Bentley Licensing for license file at 800-778-4277. Select the voice-system option for Licensing.
