Zoom for Government at U-M can be ordered in two styles depending on your needs:
- Voice-only service that is provided via a desk set or conference telephone using Zoom for Government. This service provides telephone service only and is not associated with a user’s uniqname. This option may be appropriate for a personal office or for a conference room serving multiple users.
- Softphone/meetings service that allows softphone calls and online meetings via an approved computer. A Zoom for Government at U-M account is associated with a specific user’s uniqname. A desk phone may be requested but is not required. This option best serves the needs of anyone who needs to schedule and create compliant video meetings.
