Please do not install Apple’s new operating system, macOS Sierra (version 10.12), on MiWorkspace Mac computers from the Mac App Store when it is released on September 20, 2016.
MiWorkspace tests operating system upgrades for compatibility with U-M networks, administrative systems, and more than 550 software titles on MiWorkspace machines. The macOS Sierra will be available for download in the MiWorkspace Managed Software Center as soon as compatibility tests are completed.
Faculty and staff who have a MiWorkspace Mac will receive an email notification when macOS Sierra is available in the Managed Software Center. Visit the MiWorkspace site for more information about updating operating systems on MiWorkspace computers.
