Microsoft will officially retire both Windows 10 and Office 2016 on October 14, 2025. After this date, devices running these products will no longer receive security updates or patches, putting them out of compliance with university IT policies.
MiWorkspace Windows devices that have compatible hardware will be updated to Windows 11 and Microsoft [Office] 365 prior to this deadline. Windows devices that can not run Windows 11 will be retired or replaced.
