My name is Sarah Breen and I am interning with Teaching and Learning. I am working towards a Masters of Science in Information here at the University of Michigan.
My project this summer is to identify areas of opportunity to better support engaged learning across the University. Conversations with multiple groups across campus have highlighted the people, processes, policies, and technical infrastructures required to support engaged learning at scale.
My cohort group, Alison, Matt and myself, have been working on a tour app built in ARIS virtual reality software for our project. We have been exploring how the virtual reality software could be used to provide supplemental tours to groups across campus targeted to their particular area of interest.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, visiting new places, and connecting with friends around the world.
My goals for the future are to continue to work in the IT sector in order to help people have better access to the information they need when they need it.
