The Connecting Michigan initiative will develop and release a centralized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Portal, and Data Hub to advance the university’s mission by strengthening connections between central units, who act as matchmakers and catalysts for community engagement, and amplify contributions to the public good.
Connecting Michigan will also increase the university’s positive impact with external Michigan-based groups by allowing the tracking of these collaboration efforts, reducing unnecessary rework when beginning/continuing these collaborations, providing a common data model for outreach information across the university, and improving visibility into ongoing coordination efforts for senior leadership.
This phase of the project is focused on developing and releasing the CRM tool.
