To support the ITS cloud migration strategy, Identity and Access Management (IAM) must extend Shibboleth authentication beyond the UM-Ann Arbor campus. The principal objective of this project is to support the resiliency of cloud applications used by U-M by extending Shibboleth authentication services to the cloud, allowing ITS to operate systems in the cloud and on-premise with no perceivable or documented performance degradations.
