Assistive Technology Evaluations

Assistive technology evaluations are an opportunity for members of the University of Michigan community to explore high-tech accommodation options for a temporary or permanent disability.

Students

Current and prospective students affiliated with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) should contact their coordinator to arrange an evaluation.

Faculty & Staff

Current faculty/staff members who have medical documentation of disability should contact MHealthy Ergonomics (734-763-0852; mhealthyergo@med.umich.edu). Faculty and staff who are affiliated with LS&A should also contact the LSA Disability Navigators.

Other Current Members of the U-M Community

The Knox Center staff can provide evaluations for current members of the U-M community who are not covered by SSD or other faculty/staff services. There is no charge for the evaluation and no proof of disability is required. Contact the staff using our TDX form.

U-M Affiliates

Knox Center staff members are able to provide limited informational support to alumni, retirees, and emeriti.
