What is your dream job after college?
I want to work as a data analyst or a UX designer for a few years (and probably go back to school to get another master's degree after that).
What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
My departmental project, side project, and cohort project! The projects are challenging in a good way! And the people in the internship program as well. I learned so much by talking to ITS staff members. They are very nice and supportive!
What skills are you hoping to gain by the end of the internship this August?
I want to practice my data analytics skills. I also want to learn more about UX design and video editing.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
I assumed that working remotely would make it hard to interact with other people. (Not completely true - I still got to know a few staff members, and I work closely with a few other interns and a student temp).
What has been your favorite part about working from home?
I can take a 15-minute power nap after lunch, and I don't need to commute! :)
