UX Designer for a big tech company.
What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
The people that I work with. Everyone I have met and spoken to are amazing and very helpful and supportive. I really like the team that I am working with as well as my fellow interns on my cohort project.
What skills are you hoping to gain by the end of the internship this August?
I am hoping to becoming a more well rounded UX Designer. I love that I am able to get experience on both the front and backend. I hope to be a better coder while at the same time continuing to improve on the design front.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
My assumption was that it would be very strict in the work aspect. I felt there might not be very many social elements and that I would not get to know a lot of people especially in an online environment.
What has been your favorite part about working from home?
My favorite part about working from home is being able to schedule meetings back to back. The idea of having to run room to room if it were in person seems like it would not be super fun.
