What is your dream job after college?
My dream job after college is to create and apply technological solutions to help advance the field of medicine and patient care.
What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
My favorite part of this internship has been getting the opportunity to listen to a variety of ITS employees speak about their current job and career paths, as well as being able to ask them questions about how they found their career.
What skills are you hoping to gain by the end of the internship this August?
I am hoping to gain both technical and non-technical skills by the end of this internship. For technical skills, I want to learn more about Python and the Django web framework. For non-technical skills, I want to improve my communication skills in the workplace.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
One assumption I had coming into this internship was that my lack of experience working in IT would prevent me from being successful. However, this has not been the case at all, and everyone that I have been working with has been encouraging and supportive in my learning.
What has been your favorite part about working from home?
My favorite part about working from home is that my family members have become my coworkers! I get to see my family more often throughout the day, which has made working from home fun.
