The University of Michigan has completed the first phase of our community-wide password change initiative.
If you are attempting to change your password after September 18, or if you see an error message when using your current password, complete the Reset Your Forgotten Password Yourself steps to regain access.
Learn the best way to choose a strong password at Choosing and Changing a Secure UMICH (Level-1) Password.
Logins with a non-UMICH email address or social logins are not impacted.
Accessing Campus WiFi Networks
If you have not yet changed your UMICH password, you will not be able to connect to the MWireless network. To change your password, use the “Forgot Password?” link on the UMICH login page and follow the instructions.
You can use the MGuest network without UMICH authentication as an alternative for basic internet access. Certain university resources, including academic journals, may not be accessible with MGuest. Learn more about U-M WiFi networks.
