  • View the 36-minute recording of the 3/5/19 IT4U webinar on Getting Access to U-M Administrative Data with OARS.  Evan Blumenstein (ITS) demonstrates the Online Access Request System (OARS), including how to request access, track the status of your request, and check what access you have.
  • If you have any changes to ULs within your department, please contact the ITS Service Center. Provide the following information:
    • Department numbers,
    • uniqnames for old and new ULs,
    • area (DART, eRES, FIN, HRMS, SA, MC),
    • changes needed, and
    • effective date.
  • All new ULs are required to take an eLearning course in My LINC: ULE101 Unit Liaison Access Responsibilities. It includes information on reviewing OARS requests and the Access Validation report.

Identity Governance Tool

  • Identity Governance uses role-based access to strategically and proactively manage how—and why—someone receives access to digital and physical resources. Using role-based access, pre-approved access can be assigned to individuals based on their current position in an organization. 
  • Project update and awareness of the new Identity Governance Tool, plus information about the first 3 early adopters: Shared Service Center for FIN Procurement, College of Engineering for Off Hours Door Access, and Dearborn for Banner Fin Aid Admin.
