Morphic is a system that makes technology use significantly more usable for disabled individuals and others who have difficulty using standard digital setups.
Morphic Basic provides quick access to your computer’s accessibility features which may be difficult to find. These features include adjusting text size, contrast, magnification, and more. A Morphic Basic toolbar (MorphicBar) with three additional buttons for U-M Google Mail, Canvas, and MPrint is on UM-Ann Arbor Campus Computing Sites Windows and Mac computers.
Morphic Plus provides access to customizable toolbars that can also be remotely distributed to any of your computers, or to someone else’s computer. Learn about Morphic Plus features on the Morphic website.
U-M will be an ongoing beta site for new Morphic features as they roll out. As a beta site, the university will gain early access to new and improved Morphic features, such as changing complicated keystrokes into one-click buttons, as they are developed.
U-M students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to help shape the future of this assistive technology tool by providing their insights and feedback on these features as they roll out to Sites computers. Feedback on U-M's instance of Morphic can be sent to [email protected]. General accessibility questions or concerns can be sent to [email protected].
