Support

Requests for support regarding ITS services are processed through the ITS Service Center. To contact the Service Center:

Support Hours

Service Center hours may change from time to time. Hours are published on the web

  • Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm (phone and e-mail)
  • Saturday closed
  • Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (e-mail)
  • 24X7 (Self-service requests)

Service Availability 

AFS is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Planned Maintenance

Routine maintenance is scheduled for Saturday 11:00 pm through Sunday 7:00 am.

Emergency Maintenance

Emergency maintenance is any maintenance that needs to be implemented immediately and outside the usual approval procedures.  In rare situations, it may become necessary to perform emergency maintenance to correct service issues or to prevent an imminent service issue. In these situations, it will be impossible to provide thirty day advanced notice of the outage. ITS will provide as much advanced notice as possible. Refer to http://status.its.umich.edu/ for information about outages. E-mail notification of emergency maintenance will take place as early as possible.
